Northridge Middle School–Yearbook Staff Elective Information

This class is designed for highly motivated students in seventh and eighth grade who wish to contribute to creating our school yearbook as a member of a collaborative staff. It will be a full school year course. If chosen, you will be a member of the NMS Jag Prints Yearbook Staff.
We are looking for students who:
- are comfortable talking to students/staff and taking photos around the school/school events
- are able to attend some after school events to take photos
- are self-motivated, responsible, and trustworthy
- are focused on quality work and attention to details
- Have an interest in photography, journalism, or graphic design
Students will:
- help decide content and cover of yearbook
- conduct student and staff interviews
- take, edit, & choose photographs for yearbook
- aid in yearbook sales and marketing
- gain experience in editing and proofreading content
To apply to be on the Jag Prints Yearbook Staff:
- Fill out the online application.
- Pick up teacher recommendation packets from Ms. Kruse. Follow the directions in the packet.
