PARENT VISITATION DAY ~ OCTOBER 23 ~ MARK YOUR CALENDARS

Each year, the Alabama Department of Education designates October is Parent Visitation Month. The theme this year is “Home and School Partnerships: Empowering Students to Learn”.  The Tuscaloosa City Schools celebrate Parent Visitation Day to encourage parents to visit schools to support their children and build those vital relationships with teachers. It is a critical factor in determining the success of our students.

Each year TCS schools plan exciting and educational events and activities to engage our parents and show them what our schools are offering students.   These are the plans for Northridge Middle School:

    • PRIDE, Current Trends of Drug Use in Adolescence, Parent Presentation- 10:00 am and 1:00 pm in the library
    • Martin and Men (M and M) – Developing Male Mentors-  7:30 am – 9:30 am in the library
